After Bert Hellinger, our primary social structure is the family. Everything we experience in this community shapes us for further social bonds. All relationships, and especially those within the family, are subject to certain rules such as hierarchy, belonging or the balancing of give and take.

If these rules are violated or even disregarded, the family loses its natural order. As a result, failure, illness or heartbreak etc. often find their way into the life of an individual family member.

Our unconscious loyalty and blind love for our family of origin often let us relive situations and prevent us from personal growth. The disturbed course for subsequent social meetings is thus preprogrammed.

We often lack the knowledge about this. A family constellation can help to identify these knots first and then to solve them.

 

It works as follows:

First of all, all those present are introduced to the working method by the leader, then the person setting up explains your concern. On the basis of this information, the leader asks the person concerned to select people from the group of those present to represent members of his family (they do not have to be present themselves) and to position them in the room.

The deputies perceive impulses and reactions that belong to the people they represent. From this structure, a picture emerges for the course leader, which is representative of the dynamics of the family system and shows the complex effects on the individual. The aim is now to give the person concerned a new perspective and a different perspective on the situation. In this way, order and recognition find their respective place, the individual is strengthened and the entire family can be positively supported. This is the beginning of healing.

 

Working method in a one-on-one session

The work is based on the same principle, but the family members are either replaced by elements such as figures (small dolls) or carpet tiles. By touching the figures or changing perspective by adopting different points of view by changing the figures or carpet tiles, the person setting up, experiences and reflects all the energies that are effective in each case.
